Level Up...

Until now, I'm still amazed to know that I have an artistic side. Well as my old friend will always says, I used to draw a lot of figures when we were in High School and sell it to them.

It was last year when I finally say goodbye to my routine work at the office and have the courage to jump outside of my comfort zone. Well it's like jumping from river to ocean. Imagine how you have been so comforted in the river and then take all the possible chances of swimming in the ocean. It's quiet scary, knowing how big their difference are. But still I put all my faith to the Lord and hop my self to the other side of the world.

Looking back, I thought I cannot do it. But looking at my self now??? I am more happy, contented, at peace and loving my life more.

Yes I can say that it is a level up, but for others they thought that I made a wrong decision. But that's what they think, The real thing is within me. I am now step higher from where I was before. And it is all because of God. He made His promise came true as I put all my faith in Him. That's how loyal He is. Though I know that I still have glitches and still trying to learn more I'm still at peace knowing that God will always be there for me, no matter what.

In love and staying in love

What do you think is a question that brings a million smile and gallon of tears from someone? It's not money, of course. Oh yes you are right, it's love. It's so nice to ask someone if he or she is in love and if they are, you will see it through their eyes. Shining like a gem that you thought will never fade.

How do you know when you are in love? In this point in time, specially for the young ones it is so easy for them to say that they are in love. When ever they saw their crush passing by, they will immediately say that they are in love. And that is their perspective.

Have we ever thought the true meaning of love. They say love has no faces but you can feel it running from deep within. And it symbolizes the story of Cupid and Psyche. On how Cupid were able to hide his true appearance and how Psyche was so contented on the feeling itself without seeing the physical appearance of her lover. But gone are the days that people see it that way.

By now, when you ask someone why he or she love with that person. You will hear their litany of good things, traits and how handsome or beautiful that person is. And you will not be able to hear anything bad. Hmmm! Seems like a perfect man/girl already. As time passes by the hidden character slowly removing it's cover. The real color started to show up. By then, the person who says good things about their lover will now have a new list, of all bad things over a bottle of beer or a tons of tears.

Is this how love is? Is it really temporary?? Or is it the people involve???

Have you ever look closely to the face of a person in love. It's beaming, glowing and they are so energetic. Seems that nothing can ruin there day.
     
What about the person who falls out of love?? Ah, it's so ugly, so negative and seems to carry the whole world on their shoulder.
     
What about a person who remain in love after many years of being together. They have two faces. Sometime sad but most of the time happy.

You maybe wondering if I am just trying to confused you. But it's a no  no. They really are two different things, being in love and staying in love.

What is the difference???

It's a nature of human to feel love, to be in love but not all of us are lucky enough to stay in love.

And how do they differ??? Is it base on how we look at love???

Being in love is seeing good things, traits and physical appearance towards your partner and loving it. Staying in love is seeing the good things and loving it and seeing the bad things and still loving it as well.

Two side of a different story but same topic. And clearly define. I just hope that all people who fell in love will remain in love with the same person or partner. But then again, change is always present. And we will never know what it can bring.

The Tourist and The Pilgrims

We love to visit places, specially when others told us their experiences in a specific place. Now it is so common for the others to always bring their camera to take hold of the scenery. Today I saw those kind of people, inside the Transfiguration Chapel before the mass begin. At first I thought that they are guess and they will attend the mass. But right before the mass start, slowly they disappeared and saw them again outside taking pictures even if the mass is ongoing. It saddened my heart simply because most of us thought that we are tourist spending every minute carelessly. Taking pictures pictures that we thought would last forever. But we are not, we are pilgrims. A passers by with a purpose. Let us seek the meaning of our life just as we seek the beautiful scenery on the land. Use all benefits and blessings wisely, not for yourself only but for others also. Spend the time with a deep purpose of God. Follow His every step and be very vocal on His words and share it to others.

Fred Flinstones

When I was a kid, one of the most memorable parts are watching television while enjoying the company of all cartoon characters you love. And one of those are the Flinstones family. I love their image, how they portray the image of living from the ancient times. How they make use of everything that are visible in their naked eye. And take note, technology has nothing to do with any of their stories. What I love most is their car made of store and wood. I think it is the only luxury that they have back then.

It even expresses the funny and awesome part of having a dear friend ever ready to help each and everyone. How they were able to swallow their pride and admit what they have committed wrong doings.

Just the other night while simply browsing the internet to get another project or creation to my album I came across to Fred picture. Suddenly I felt the urge of molding my clay and create ny very own version of Fred Flinstones. At first I became nervous that I might ruin his form. But after a few minutes, all I can say is Thank You Lord for guiding my hands. And now, meet my latest creation. Hope everyone will like it.

Monster High

Absolutely I love creating a copy of dolls that are available in the store. Because it's much cheaper and I love it more, simply because it's my very own creation. I do remember when I thought of doing Lalaloopsy, I was so happy when I finally did it. But I first I thought I might ruin the image of lalaloopsy. But putting a lot of effort and passion I finally did it. Due to this I tried it once again, but this time it's Draculaura of Monster High. Oh my, I thought it was easy. But it's a no no. Because I need to use different colors, I need to mixcolors in order to have the pale pink for her face. A black and pink for her hair. This creation is a bit messy because of color black. But I need to make it better, far better than lalaloopsy simply because a client is asking for the said design. And that adds to the pressure. But pressure seems to be a block that I need to remove in order to move. Amazingly, with God given gift I did it. And what added to my happiness is that the client approve my design and order different designs. And that completes my day.

I am not a typical girl or a woman. I love wearing shirt and pants. Seldom that I wear blouses and I never wear dress. But I still have a feminine side. I love creating accessories, though I don't wear them. Not because I don't like. It's because it doesn't fit with shirts. But I love creating them. In fact I already have small  number of collections.

Have you ever been in love??? Me I don't know, I guess so I did... Of course I did. But what is love, how did I know that I fall in love already? Is it because I enter relationship that last few months or a year and so?

At this stage of life, in this present year of my life. I honestly don't know the answer to all those questions. But why??? Maybe because I never had a good relation that last a life time. That everything ends up before I knew it. Or is it because I was always being left behind. Ah that add another injury on me and bunch of questions that I need to answer.

An honest question that pops up on my mind after watching the movie "While you were sleeping".

She taught she is in love. She knew how she giggles whenever the so called love of her life passes by. But not until that tragic moment happen. It open a window in her heart and change her life forever.

Well I guess that is love. It's undefined, you cannot plan love. And you never can tell if it's really, only if God show you that it is.

And that answer my questions, yes I haven't experience being in love. Infatuation maybe, but not the real love. I have never offer my life to anyone. I haven't experience the magic feeling, I haven't heard the magic bell ringing. But that is okay. I know in time it will happen. In God's time.

There are moments in your life when you feel like not moving any muscle of yours. When you intend to sleep all day and do nothing. And thinking on the back your mind that God will still bring you the best of everything.
But it's a wrong assumption, it is true though that you will do the hard work and God will make it easy and happy for you. He cannot move without you moving your own butt. It's like going to a place without leaving the house, that is too impossible. You need to help your self and God will surely pave the way. Helping your self and developing your skills are your way of honoring your self and giving thanks and glory to God. So do everything that you can so that boredom will not enter into you. Boredom is a way of our common enemy to distract us. Always find things to do, and good things in deed.

My first Webinar

I have been seeing post about a Webinar, a free webinar. But what a heck, what is webinar? I might get bored.

Webinar, is a seminar being done or held via web or online. Different sites are being used in order for the Guru to show his presentation.

Amazingly, I enjoy the webinar and boredom didn't sit on my lap. I was so excited to hear every words being shared and all the comment being posted by other attendees. And as the Guru asked some question, I was so eager to type faster so that I can send my reply. As if I am in the school, doing all my best to catch my Teacher's attention. And yes I succeed. It so nice to hear him mentioning my user name.

But above all, all the words, tips and techniques are the most priceless part of all.

Looking forward for another webinar that will add knowledge.

How to use Dropbox

Keeping your files intact and safe is the hardest thing to do. You have to have a good type of USB or Gig or you can store it in your own desktop or laptop. But what if  you only have a desktop and for sure you cannot bring it to anywhere. What is you use your external or USB and suddenly it fell from your hands. Oh my, what if it broke. You are now in doom.

How to fix hard polymer clay

Hard and crumbly clay is the most hardest clay to condition. But then again you need to do your best and find ways to soften it. Else, your money will be wasted. 

I have a lot of clay that has  the same density. So I tried a lot of ways and search in internet. And finally I found a lot.

Below are the liqiud you can use to soften your clay:

Baby Oil

Cooking Oil

Olive Oil

and of course, Clay Softener by Sculpey.

For me best way is to use Baby Oil and Clay softener. And baby oil is the best alterantive if you don't have the budget to buy a clay softener.

Here is the procedure:

Cut the portion of clay that you need.

Pour on the clay softener or baby oil in the tile (small portion)

Roll over your clay on the liquid

If you think that your clay absorb the liquid, start conditioning your clay

color may vary after you have bake your clay. This depends on the oil that you use. 

Now, after doing the above procedure you still find your clay hard and crumbly. Get a plastic and put your clay inside and pour a small portion of the desired liquid. Store the clay for at least an hour or 2. After that, you may start conditioning your clay again.

Another way to soften your clay is to mix it with a clay with a new ans soft clay. Just get a small amount of soft clay and start to condition your hard clay.

After the above procedure you may now start using the clay.

A unique creation

The other day I came across to one customer who seems to request the impossible idea. I may be able to customize other items but her request seems impossible for me. It's like hitting moon with my bare hand. But curious part of me seems to eager and the need to have additional money that time. And that very same time, I asked for God's help. I told Him, Lord this is impossible if I will rely on my own strength but possible if You are with me.

So I started with the first piece....

The impossible appears to be so possible with the hands of God guiding me each way. I post it to my facebook account to get the approval of the owner. And I was so happy to received her reaction. She love my piece. So I created again the 2nd, 3rd and 4th figure. Still guided by God.

Luckily I still got the same reaction. So happy.

With such reaction, I gain a lot of energy and even the respect for my self. I began to realize that I am special child of God. Simply because He has given me a very special gift, thus I was able to create those figures.

Well it is not only me who has this talent. We may not be the same but one thing is for sure each one of us has unique gift from God. If having troubles finding it? Try to find one that give you happiness a real happiness. It is seated inside your heart.

And to complete the set of those figures, I made a stage that will show each figures... And here it is....

And now it's complete. Thank you Father God for guiding me and for giving me such a lovely gift. May You always guide me as I create each figures that will give happiness to others....

I normally create document for every program to be coded. But things change when I began to feel uncomfortable to where I was before. And now here I am, molding, creating my own design. And I must say, I love it. Love it very much....

With so much effort and love and most specially the talent given by God I am now enjoying my life....

My First Image

Who would have thought that a girl who has been dealing with a lot of application and problem in the office will have a new life. Well that's me. After 16 years of life in a company, I finally say to the Lord and let go of my comfort zone. And guess where did got put me. Of course, in the line of art. And look at the very first cup cake I ever made. It so lovely, base on my two eyes. Others may comment, but I know that I got the best. Simply because, it's talent given to me by God.
